Advantages and disadvantages of zinc alloys

As an important alloy material, zinc alloy has the following advantages:

(2) High strength: zinc alloy has relatively high strength and hardness, which can ensure that it is not easy to deform or deform in use.

Zinc alloys also have their shortcomings:

(1) Easy to be oxidized: Zinc alloy is easily oxidized in an environment such as oxygen and water for a long time, resulting in reduced strength and corrosion resistance.

(2) Low temperature brittleness: When the ambient temperature of zinc alloy is low, its toughness will be weakened, and it is prone to brittleness.

(3) Poor lubricity: Compared with other materials, the lubricity of zinc alloy is not very good, and it is necessary to improve its lubricity by adding other elements.

In short, zinc alloy has excellent properties, and it is widely used in automotive parts, household appliances, decorative materials, building materials and other fields. Despite its shortcomings, with the development of science and technology, it is believed that zinc alloys will be more widely used and developed in the future.
